1. About these Terms

These Terms apply to your use of Kara. They should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle information.

Kara is operated by VELA SOLUTIONS LTD, a company established in the United Kingdom. The information described in the Privacy Policy is held in the United Kingdom.

2. About Kara

Kara provides everyday wellbeing tools. Depending on the version you use, those tools may include:

• mood check-ins
• healthy habit tracking
• breathing exercises
• sleep logging
• meditation sessions
• weekly progress
• wellbeing content

Features may change over time. We do not guarantee that every feature is always available on every device or platform.

3. Accounts

Some Kara features require an account. Where you create an account, you agree to:

• provide information that is accurate and kept reasonably up to date
• keep your sign-in details secure
• not share your credentials in a way that would let others use your account
• tell us at support@karadays.com if you suspect unauthorised access

You are responsible for maintaining reasonable security over your account credentials. Kara may take steps to protect accounts, such as invalidating sessions, resetting credentials, or limiting access where we reasonably need to prevent abuse. We do not claim that any account is completely secure.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

• access another person’s account without permission
• try to bypass security or authentication
• interfere with the operation of Kara
• use Kara for illegal activity
• upload malicious content or code
• abuse Kara’s systems or infrastructure
• scrape or automate access in a harmful way
• misuse Kara’s name, branding or other intellectual property

5. Your content

You may add information to Kara, such as mood reflections, optional photos, optional voice recordings, and profile or preference details.

You keep ownership of your own content. You give Kara only the limited permission needed to store and process that content so the service can work for you.

Private content is intended to stay with the authenticated account and is not designed as public social content. How we handle information is explained in the Privacy Policy.

6. Wellbeing and medical disclaimer

Kara supports everyday wellbeing and self-reflection. It does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. Content in Kara is informational. Kara is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

If you need medical or other professional help, please seek it from a qualified person. Kara does not provide emergency or crisis services.

Wellbeing articles and similar content, where available, are educational only. Use your own judgement.

Kara may offer optional reminders. Reminders are a convenience. Device or platform settings can affect whether they appear. Do not rely on Kara notifications for emergency or safety-critical purposes.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep Kara reliable. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or free from errors.

Kara may be updated, maintained, changed or temporarily unavailable from time to time. We may improve features, change interfaces, add or remove functionality, or change platform availability where reasonably necessary.

Kara relies on third-party services to operate, such as hosting, storage, email delivery and, where applicable, app-store platforms. Those providers are described in more detail in the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The Kara name, branding, software, interface, design, original content, logos and product materials belong to VELA SOLUTIONS LTD or their applicable licensors.

You receive a limited right to use Kara for your own lawful personal use. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Kara to you.

9. Account deletion

You may stop using Kara at any time. You can delete your account using the supported Kara controls. See Delete your Kara account.

How deletion is handled is also explained in the Privacy Policy. We do not promise a fixed time for every copy of information to disappear from backups.

We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, a legal requirement, or a serious breach of these Terms.

10. Liability

Kara is provided on an “as available” basis, subject to applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, that arise from misuse of Kara, or that arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms when the product, the law or how Kara is operated changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.

Where a change is material, we may also tell you through the website, the app, or an account or service communication, as appropriate.
