Delete your Kara account
You can delete your Kara account and the personal information associated with it using Kara's supported account controls.
This action is intended to permanently close the account.
How to delete your account
Account deletion is available through supported Kara clients. The exact labels can vary, so use the account settings that appear on your device.
Sign in to Kara
Use the same email address you registered with, in the Kara app or another supported Kara client.
Open your profile or account settings
Look for the account area where profile and privacy controls are kept.
Find the account deletion option
Open the account deletion option in your settings.
Review the deletion information
Read the on-screen summary so you understand what closing the account involves.
Confirm the request
Confirm only when you are ready to close the account through the supported controls.
Can't access your account?
If you cannot sign in, try password reset first where that is appropriate. If you still need help deleting the account, contact Kara Support or email support@karadays.com.
Never send your password, verification code or authentication token by email.
What happens to your information?
Account deletion is intended to remove or disassociate account-linked information that Kara no longer needs to retain. Depending on what you have used, this may include:
- account and profile information
- mood check-ins and reflections
- habit progress
- water logs
- breathing session history
- sleep logs
- meditation history
- bookmarks and preferences
- optional private photo attachments
- optional private voice attachments
Backups and technical records
Some deleted information may remain temporarily in backups, security records or operational logs where this is technically or legally necessary. These copies are not intended to remain available through the active Kara account.
What deletion does not mean
Removing Kara from a phone, or signing out, is not the same as deleting the account.
Delete app
Removes the app from the device.
Sign out
Ends the current signed-in session.
Delete account
Closes the Kara account and starts deletion of account-linked data.
Before you delete your account
You may wish to review your account first and make sure you understand that account access will end.
Where available, you may choose to export your Kara information before deleting your account.
